Thank you for your interest in joining us on October 3 for this National Day on Writing event on Capitol Hill.For the past nine years, the Senate has approved a resolution recognizing October 20 as the official National Day on Writing, and now, in our tenth year, we are hoping to secure this recognition with more cosponsors than ever before. With your help, we will visit all 100 Senate offices with a message about the National Day on Writing and a t-shirt to commemorate the event. These visits are quick, and you’ll be given everything you need to make them, from the materials to the talking points. They do require a fair amount of walking, but we will do our best to schedule your stops close to one another.
