Wednesday, May 10, 2023
5:00–6:30 p.m. ET

Teaching English in the digital age requires us to reconsider the way that story enters our lives and those of our students. While the variety of online tools available for storytelling seems unending, one that combines story and geography is Google Earth. While you may have used Earth to find your house, there are so many other ways to incorporate this online tool into your teaching to give your students the opportunity to walk in the shoes of another. Come explore the ways literacy and storytelling are changing and how Google Earth can help us expand our views of the world and bring a global understanding into our classrooms.
